How to register a Globe or TM SIM (2026 steps)
Globe and TM SIMs register through the same system. GOMO registers inside its own app. Steps below are for prepaid; postpaid lines opened after 2022 were registered at sign-up.
Option 1: Globe registration portal
- Open the Globe SIM registration portal on any browser (search “Globe SIM registration” and use the link on globe.com.ph).
- Enter the mobile number. A one-time code arrives on that SIM; enter it.
- Fill in name, birthday, sex, address, and choose your ID type.
- Upload a photo of the ID and take the in-portal selfie.
- Submit. Confirmation arrives by SMS, usually within minutes.
Option 2: GlobeOne app
Log in with the number, open the SIM registration banner, and follow the same fields. Useful if the portal is slow.
GOMO
Open the GOMO app, tap the registration prompt, and complete the same ID and selfie steps.
If the code does not arrive
- Confirm the SIM is inserted and has signal; the code goes to the SIM, not to an email.
- Check the prefix: a 0918 number is Smart, not Globe, and will not get a Globe code. Verify with the directory.
- Wait five minutes before requesting again; repeated requests are queued.
Can I register a TM SIM on the Globe portal?
Yes. TM uses the same registration system as Globe.
Can someone else register my SIM?
Only a parent or guardian for a minor. Otherwise the ID must belong to the user.
Is Globe SIM registration free?
Yes. Any request for payment is a scam.

Is GOMO under Globe? Yes, and here is what that changes
GOMO is Globe's app-only prepaid brand. Same towers, same 5G, same on-net status as Globe and TM.
Is DITO Smart or Globe? Neither: DITO is its own network
DITO Telecommunity is the third operator, not a sub-brand. It uses 089X and 099X prefixes and its own 4G/5G network.
