049 is a Laguna landline area code, not a mobile prefix
049 is not a Globe, Smart or DITO number. It is the landline area code for Laguna. Calamba, Santa Rosa, Los Banos and the rest of Laguna.
What network is 049?
None. Landlines belong to a fixed-line provider (PLDT, Globe At Home, Converge, Eastern, and regional carriers) and have no mobile network. Mobile unli-call promos usually exclude landlines unless they say “all-net + landline”.
