Which network has the best unlimited data in the Philippines? - anongnetwork.com

Every network sells something called unlimited data. None of them means it literally. Understanding the three kinds of “unlimited” is the whole game.

The three kinds of unlimited

  1. Unlimited with a fair-use cap. Full speed up to a daily or monthly threshold, then throttled to a crawl. Most Globe and Smart “unli” promos work this way.
  2. Unlimited at a fixed lower speed. No cap, but never fast. Fine for messaging, painful for video.
  3. App-specific unlimited. Unlimited only for named apps (TikTok, Facebook, YouTube) with a separate general-data bucket.

By network

DITO has led on price for high-allowance and unlimited-style prepaid bundles since launch, with fair-use thresholds that are generous by local standards. The trade-off is coverage: strong in the big three cities, thinner elsewhere, and 4G/5G phones only.

Globe sells unli-style promos through GoSURF-family bundles and GoUNLI, usually with a daily fair-use threshold, and app-specific unlimited add-ons. GOMO takes a different approach: no expiry rather than no cap.

Smart sells Giga-family bundles with app-specific unlimited (Giga Video, Giga Stories) and time-boxed unli data promos. TNT mirrors these at lower prices with smaller buckets.

How to compare real value

  • Find the fair-use threshold in the promo terms. That number, not the word “unlimited”, is what you are buying.
  • Check the throttled speed after the cap. 256 kbps is unusable for video; 1-2 Mbps is workable.
  • Count validity in days and divide the price by the threshold to get a per-gigabyte figure.
  • Check whether the promo is 5G-eligible if you have a 5G phone in a 5G area.

Prices change monthly

We deliberately do not print promo prices here; they change faster than any page can track. Compare current bundles in the GlobeOne, GigaLife, GOMO and DITO apps using the method above, and treat the cheapest headline price with suspicion until you have read its fair-use line.

Is DITO really unlimited?

DITO bundles carry fair-use thresholds like everyone else, but they have been more generous than Globe and Smart equivalents.

Does GOMO have unlimited data?

No. GOMO sells data that never expires, which is a different promise from unlimited.

What is fair use policy?

A threshold after which the network slows your connection for the rest of the promo period.
